The Trinidad-bred Conchtown Islanders blend steel drums with more standard instrumentation like guitar, keyboards, flute and trumpet to play an astonishing variety of music. Through the magic of technology, the band, typically a trio, can reproduce the full sound of a 6 or 10-piece band, adding rich textures to traditional island favorites; reggae, calypso, zouk or soca material; or more contemporary songs (including a repertoire of 42 Jimmy Buffett songs!).
